Figure Drawing on Toned PaperCongratulations! Everyone did such a great job in my Figure Drawing Class held at OA Gallery! In this class we had a lovely model pose for us. She held a beautiful and graceful pose - we were very spoiled! Early stages of the demonstration...I'm keeping the drawing soft and loose as I use powdered graphite and charcoal pencil to lay in the large shapes of the gesture. The students were fantastic! They jumped right in! They were up for the challenge working on the entire figure! Great class! Emphasis was on using the paper as the midtone value, and the students added their light and dark values with white and black charcoal. What great progress as the class starts laying in their gesture drawings! Drawing demonstration is nearing completion. FUTURE CLASS INFORMATION:
